Sad news for the retail world! Pier 1 Imports recently announced that they’ll be permanently closing all 540 of their locations. Pier 1 Imports was struggling before the pandemic hit, and due to the pandemic, they have been unable to find a buyer to keep the company going, so they have decided to close all locations. Once stores are able to reopen, you can expect the going out of business sales to start at every location. Note that they have stated that their locations may stay open until early Fall.
