For the first time in four years, Amazon is increasing the price of Prime membership from $99 to $119. That’s a whopping 20% increase. Starting May 11th, new members will pay this new price. For existing Prime members, the new annual fee will apply starting June 16th. Amazon is saying this price increase will support the growing number of Prime-eligible items and to also add more content to Prime Video.
