Calling all Netflix members! Netflix just announced today that they’ll be increasing the monthly prices for select streaming plans starting in November. The basic membership is $7.99 and will not increase. However, the standard $9.99 plan will now be $10.99 and the premium $11.99 will increase to $13.99. New members will have to pay these new prices starting now, however current subscribers will be given a 30 days notice before the price increase takes place for them.
- Basic: $7.99 per month (no increase)
- Standard: $10.99 per month (was $9.99)
- Premium: $13.99 per month (was $11.99)
I personally use the Basic plan, so this price increase does not apply to me. However, I really am a big fan of Netflix and believe it is a great value for what we pay. I don’t mind small price hike because they have been coming out with great content lately. What are your thoughts of this price hike?
