SHARK BITES – What to Buy Every Month of The Year
Year-round, you’ll score awesome deals when you shop. Random discounts and clearance items are your best betsfor grabbing up the best bargains. But when you know what is on sale for the lowest prices every month of the year, you will quickly learn when to shop and when to wait!
- January: At the beginning of the year, the best deals will be on Winter apparel and accessories, fitness equipment, bedding and towels and, of course, Christmas decorations and ornaments.
- February: In February, we see nice sale prices on President’s Day weekend, again- Winter apparel, ski trips, Valentine’s Day gifts and tax software. If you can hold off until this month, you’ll also find great deals on home goods.
- March: March is Frozen Food month, so you’ll be able to stock your freezer on the cheap. You’ll also get great deals on chocolates (leftover and overstocked from Valentine’s Day), luggage and sporting goods specific to Winter sports.
- April: This is the time to purchase those cruise tickets you’ve been wanting! You’ll also find sweet deals on running shoes and Spring clothing and accessories this month, as well.
- May: In May, the Memorial Day sales are upfront and center. Those will include mattresses, home goods and kitchen appliances. You’ll also score nice savings on Spring clothing.
- June: Outdoor gear is the highlight of June sales. It’s heating up, so you’ll find nice deals on camping and hiking items. Oddly enough, lingerie is at its best prices this month, now that Valentine’s Day and Mother’s Day are long gone.
- July: Keep your eye on 4th of July sale deals this month! Plus, find sweet scores on outdoor gear for hiking and camping, jewelry, furniture, swimwear, and air conditioners. This is also when Amazon announces their Prime Day Deals!
- August: It’s back to school season! Stock up on office and school items, laptops, swimwear and summer clothing that’s gone on sale and clearance this month.
- September: Labor Day sales offer amazing best prices of the year on things like mattresses, grills, patio furniture, bicycles and iPhones. You’ll want to purchase your holiday airfare this month for the best prices, as well.
- October: This is the month of Halloween, so costumes are at their best prices! You’ll also find discounted Labor Day sale items that did not sell in September. It’s a great month to purchase a car and outdoor gear again, too. Another surprise this month is denim. As the season changes, jeans will be at all-time low prices.
- November: Holiday shopping is in full swing this month. Get the best deals on laptops and TVs, small and large appliances, toys and apple devices this month. The holiday sales will offer some serious discounts and this is the month to grab them.
- December: Score after Christmas sale deals like crazy in December! You’ll also find sweet prices on tools, gift cards, and even cars in December. PS: This is my birthday month so I guess you can plan to buy me a gift this month. 😉
