Impulse shopping happens sometimes. It’s fun, sometimes spontaneous and exciting. Sometimes we don’t have the time to shop around for the best bargain, and end up overpaying. thanks to price matching, we can get back those savings that were once lost. Here are some stores that will price match both in-store and online AFTER you have made your purchase.
Advance Auto Parts
Policy Type: Price matches competitor’s prices.
Details: You must provide a print advertisement, mobile device screen from a competitor’s website, or a printout from a competitor’s website. If you’re matching an online price, the price must include the shipping cost of that item. They will match both identical AND comparable items – as long as the item is of the same quality, size, weight, color and has a similar warranty.
Amazon
Policy Type: Prices matches competitor’s prices on eligible televisions within 30 days of purchase.
Details: Amazon will refund the price difference if a television you buy directly from Amazon.com (not a third party seller) drops to a low price on a competitor’s website within 30 days of purchasing.
Bass Pro Shops
Policy Type: Price matches competitor’s prices in store; Price matches Bass Pro Shops catalog and online prices in stores; AND offers a Low Price guarantee within 30 days of purchase.
Details: Bass Pro will match a competitor’s price in store when you bring in a sales ad. They will also match Bass Pro Shops catalog and website prices in stores. If the price of an item you purchased from Bass Pro Shops drops in their stores within 30 days of purchase, they will refund you the difference.
Bed Bath and Beyond
Policy Type: Price matches competitor’s prices.
Details: Bed Bath and Beyond matches competitor’s prices in store and online. They will even price match Amazon.com. In store, take an ad or website print out to customer service. For online price matching call 1-800-GO-BEYOND. Note that you cannot use both a price match AND a Bed Bath and Beyond coupon on the same item.
Best Buy
Policy Type: Price matches competitor’s prices AND offers a Low Price guarantee within the return period.
Details: Best Buy competitor’s prices in store and online. They will match prices with Amazon.com and Newegg.com. To price match in store, visit the customer service desk. To price match online call 1-888-237-8289. Best Buy cannot do online prices in stores, only over the phone. Best Buy has an awesome policy that if they lower their price between the time of purchase and the return period date for your item, you can request a price adjustment by stopping by a customer service desk or calling the phone number above.
Big Lots
Policy Type: Price matches competitor’s price in store and online within 30 days of sale.
Details: If you find a lower price for an identical item at a competitor’s local store, Big Lots stores will match that price. The competitor’s item must be identical in all respects (e.g., the same brand, size, weight, quantity, color, flavor and model number) and have the exact same features, accessories and status (e.g., new or refurbished) as the Big Lots item. The item must be in stock at Big Lots and offered at the lower price by the competitor on the day you request the price match.
Our Prices vs. Our Prices: Big Lots strives to provide low prices at your local Big Lots store, as well as at BigLots.com. Merchandise and promotional offers available online at BigLots.com may vary from those offered in our stores. If you order a product online at BigLots.com and notice that your local Big Lots store price is lower than the online price, in most instances, we will match the lower price.
Dell
Policy Type: Price matches competitors price within 30 days.
Details: If you see a lower price on your product purchase within 30 days of your invoice date, Dell will refund the difference. Less stress, more satisfaction, guaranteed. Call 1-877-717-3355 and share the active link showing the exact-match, lower-priced item with Dell sales support within 30 days of your invoice date. Once validated, they will complete your refund.
Expedia
Policy Type: Price match competitors and a $50 coupon for future purchases.
Details: If you find a lower price on your hotel stay, flight, vacation package, cruise, rental, or activity they will refund the difference and give you a $50 coupon. Fill out the Best Price Guarantee Application to start a refund.
Fry’s Electronics
Policy Type: Price match competitors online and in store within 30 days of purchase.
Details: If within 30 days of purchasing an item from a Fry’s Electronics store you see a lower current price at a local authorized competitor in-stock, or from an authorized Internet competitor ready to ship, Fry’s will cheerfully refund 110% of the difference. Or if within 30 days of purchase you see a lower current price from a local Fry’s Electronics store, Fry’s will refund 100% of the difference. To apply for Fry’s price match promise, simply bring in your original cash register receipt and verifiable proof of a lower current price.
Home Depot
Policy Type: Price match competitors in store and online.
Details: Online purchases are eligible for Price Matching on identical, in-stock items. Price Match will compare in-cart price (e.g. including shipping) and eligible Price Match items must be available from competitor to ship to customer’s location. Online purchases are not eligible for the 10% Low Price Guarantee. f you find a current lower price on an identical, in-stock item from any retailer, we will match the price and beat it by 10%. Just bring the ad, printout or photo with you to the register for validation.
Hotels.com
Policy Type: Price match up until the day before you check in.

Details: If you find the cheaper price on another website, they will check the details of your booking and refund you the difference immediately or, if you are paying at the hotel, after you have completed your stay. Your bank can take up to 30 days to process this. If you find the cheaper price on Hotels.com and give us a call, they will rebook the cheaper price and refund the original (higher priced) booking. They will refund you immediately but your bank can take up to 30 days to process this.
HP
Policy Type: Price match HP within 30 days of delivery.
Details: If they lower the price of the product you purchased and it is still in stock, you can contact them via email at myhpsales@hp.com within 30 days of delivery to request a credit for the difference.
Jo-Ann
Policy Type: Price match Jo-Ann online and in store within 7 days.
Details: Seasonal items do not qualify for price adjustments. Patterns on Joann.com® are not eligible for price match with a Jo-Ann Store price. Please note that pricing may be different between the website and Jo-Ann Stores for many reasons, including the timing of promotional events and product source. The Price Match Pledge will be honored on Joann.com® in U.S. Dollars (USD). Please see your local Jo-Ann Store location for their posted Price Match Pledge.
JC Penney
Policy Type: Price matches competitors + 5% in store and online within 14 days of purchase.
Details: If you find a lower current advertised price on an identical item within 14 days after purchase at a competitor, just bring the ad to a JCPenney store and they will beat that price by 5%. For online purchases, call Customer Care at 1-800-322-1189. Note that this does not include Sephora, Salon, Optical, Portrait, In-Home Custom Window Treatments or Services (including Flooring). Lowest price guarantee on Major Appliances does not include extra 5%.
Kohl’s
Policy Type: Price matches competitors in store.
Details: Kohl’s will match a competitor’s in-store price for an identical product sold in Kohl’s stores. Just bring a copy of the competitor’s ad with the current date on it to your nearest Kohl’s Department Store (make sure the ad includes a description of the item and the competitor’s retail or sale price).
Lowe’s
Policy Type:Price matches competitors + 10% in store.
Details: If you find a lower everyday price on an identical item at a local retail competitor, just bring in the competitor’s current ad, and they will beat their price by 10%. If a competitor is offering a percent off discount, they’ll match the final net price the competitor is offering.
Macy’s
Policy Type: Price matches competitors in store and online within 10 days of purchase or delivery.
Details: Online – Price adjustments for sale merchandise can only be made within 10 days of your order being placed. They will refund the price difference to your original form of payment. Submit your request for a price adjustment here. In store – Price adjustments for sale merchandise can only be made within 10 days of your purchase. Adjustments are made only if the original purchase was made without a coupon. They will refund the price difference to your original form of payment.
Michael’s
Policy Type: Price matches competitors in store.
Details: Michaels will match any competitor’s advertised price on items identical in brand and size. Advertised product must be currently valid and not expired.
Office Depot and Office Max
Policy Type: Price matches in store and online within 14 days of purchase.
Details: Office Depot® and OfficeMax® stores and Officedepot.com will gladly match the price on a new identical item sold by any retailer who sells products in both retail stores and online under the same brand name. They match prices on items that are sold and shipped by Amazon.com.
Orbitz
Policy Type: Price match competitors and $50 in Orbucks for future purchases.

PetCo
Policy Type: Price Matches Petco in store and online.
Details: If you find a lower price for an identical item at any competitor’s store, they’ll gladly match it. Petco and Unleashed by Petco stores will also match regular and sale prices (excluding Repeat Delivery* pricing) found on petco.com and unleashedbypetco.com. They do not match other online sellers and/or websites.
PetSmart
Policy Type: Price matches competitors in store and online.
Details: If you find a product that’s in stock at a PetSmart store for a lower price at a competitor’s store (excluding competitors’ online sites and catalogs), PetSmart will match the price as long as the identical product is in stock at our store. Proof of the lower price (receipt, advertisement or other confirmation) is required. Petsmart.com will match any competitor’s online everyday price for in-stock, identical products. They cannot match sale prices or prices advertised on Amazon, eBay, other auction sites or closeout/discount sites. Please note: the Online Price Match Guarantee excludes shipping charges. Target
Policy Type: Price matches in store and online within 14 days of purchase.
Details: If you find a current lower price within 14 days after purchase, just bring in the proof and they will adjust your payment to the lower price, upon request. Target store price matches and adjustments are completed at the store on any lane. For Target.com purchases, call Target.com Guest Services at 1-800-591-3869.
Toys “R” Us and Babies “R” Us
Policy Type: Price matches competitors in store and online within 7 days of purchase.
Details: Toys “R” Us and Babies “R” Us will match the lowest advertised price if you find an item at Toys”R”Us or Babies”R”Us that is currently available for less at Toysrus.com, Babiesrus.com, selected online competitors, or in a Toys”R”Us or Babies”R”Us, or a competitor’s local printed or digital ad. Price matches may be requested at the time of purchase or price adjustments can be made within 7 days of purchase by visiting Customer Service.
Walmart
Policy Type: Price matches competitor’s price in store and online.
Details: The item must be currently in-stock at the online retailer’s website and on Walmart.com at the time of the price match request. Walmart.com will match the price of select online retailers. Walmart.com will not Price Match from Thanksgiving Day through the Monday after Thanksgiving.
