Amazon to Refund Customers $70 Million for In-App Purchases

Attention, parents! If your child bought something in an app from Amazon’s App Store without your permission, you may be eligible for a refund. They’ll be refunding up to $70 million to customers! These accidental app purchases must have taken place between November 2011 and May 2016 in order to qualify.

To see if you qualify, head over to Amazon.com, click Your Account, then click Message Center. If you are eligible for a refund, you’ll see a message about it under Important Messages. You’ll have all the way until May 28th, 2018 to request a refund. Let us know if you qualify. Spread the word!
