Big news! Reports are coming in that Walgreens has agreed to purchase Rite Aid for $17.2 billion! This deal would merge the second and third largest drugstore chains in the United States. Walgreens and Rite Aid will combine for more stores than CVS currently has. I am hoping this leads to better deals for us all in the long run. Go here for more information.
