SHARK BITES – Amazon Prime Day — Summer’s ‘BLACK FRIDAY’ on July 15th
You’ve probably seen a ton of commercials talking about Amazon.com having a 20th birthday promotion called “Amazon Prime Day”, which will take place on July 15, 2015. Its goal is to offer deals for one day only that will hopefully surpass Black Friday sales. It’s for Amazon Prime members only, so if you aren’t one, you can become one by registering here. This allows you to start a 30-day free trial that you can cancel at any time. After the 30-day trial period ends, the cost to continue with Prime is $99 a year, so be sure to cancel on time, if you decide this isn’t for you, so as not to be charged the annual fee.
So, what’s all the hoopla really about? Can this really surpass the Black Friday sales? I have a sneaky suspicion that Amazon will come through! It will be one for the books for sure! This is kind of a “Christmas in July” promotion. Speaking of Christmas— this is a way to definitely find some “AMAZON-ing” deals to put away for Christmas.

Beginning midnight July 15th, subscribed Prime members (new and existing), will have access to multiple deals in several categories on Amazon.com. According to Amazon.com, Prime members can shop exclusive deals from electronics, toys, video games, movies, clothing, patio, lawn and garden, sports and outdoor items and more. Deals will pop up every ten minutes. So, shopping from thousands of Lightning Deals, and Deals of the Day, you will also receive unlimited Free Two-Day Shipping. 😉 Amazon.com states that Prime members can shop on any device, including smartphones and tablets to enjoy deals anytime, and anywhere. It definitely beats all of the hustling and bustling in and out of stores, dealing with traffic, and not so jolly people.
