Kmart and Sears offer a free service to their customers (Shop Your Way Rewards), which allows for some great and beneficial shopping rewards— whether online or in-store.

Rewards Section:
- Points Balance and Account History – History of your transactions
- Points Redemption – Teaches how to redeem points online. Note: Some points can last in your account for over a year; whereas, some can expire in a matter of days. (Example of points: 7, 900 points = $7.90)
- Surprise Points – Points given as thanks to members for being loyal shoppers and can be used towards specific/non-specific categories. Note: These type of points usually have quick expiration dates.
- Members Get More – Earn points from partners; earn and save; exclusive deals and coupons; mobile app for in-store purchases, sweeps and games; hot trends; and VIP perks.
- Partners – Deals/rewards back from various companies geared towards your shopping habits/your zip code.
- Max free 2-Day Shipping – Free 2-day shipping on tons of Sears & Kmart items; receive Double Base points on all qualifying purchases— online or in-store; $3 back in points (3,000 points) each month of your membership – which is a $36 dollar value! You can upgrade your membership for just $39 a year.
- Sweeps: Points. Prizes. Play. – Entries usually consist of answering a short series of questions.
- VIP – Shop Your Way ® VIP CHOICE Benefits are for the most valued members! It is based on your status: Platinum, Gold, or Silver, where you will be able to select one of the exclusive benefits offered for each season.
- Coupons – This is where $ off of $ amounts, points offered after spending a specific $ off of $ amount, or % spent for members. (Example: $10 back in points when you spend $50 or more on Clothing or 15% off Footwear).
- Weekly Deals – Suggested deals that you may or may not otherwise think to use
- Personal Shopper – Assistance for you geared towards specific shopping habits of yours (ie: Day-to-day purchases, pets, etc.)
- Member Card and Pin – A sequence of 16 numbers (MEMBERSHIP) and 8 numbers (PIN) used specifically to identify you/your account/purchases. You can print out your membership card or give your email address or phone number associated with your account to gain access to your rewards.
Read the Small Print: There are great deals to be found all over the Kmart and Sears sites. However, many deals have exclusions, when redeeming your points. So, be sure you have a clear understanding on how to utilize your offers, to gain the best deal for your shopping experience and wallet.
Search and Find: When looking for your specific item(s), type the word clearance in the field with it. You will be amazed at all the great deals and low prices you will find on everyday items. Note: Currently there is a buy 1 get another 1 for a $1.00* on all footwear. Check the Deals Section for an online $5 off $25 on shoes coupon that you can use towards this already sweet deal when you check out.
*$1.00 is used toward the lowest priced item of the two selections.
Layaway – 4 Easy Steps:
- Shop for what you want
- Make a down payment
- Make payments every two weeks
- Pick up your items
8-week online or in-store options have a $10 down payment, payment every two weeks, a $5.00 service fee, and a $10 cancellation fee. 12-week in-store options only (with a $300 minimum purchase) have a $10 down payment, payment every two weeks, a $10.00 service fee, and a $20 cancellation fee. Clearance items cannot be placed in layaway. Note: Currently there is an online and in-store $10 layaway deal that is valid through April 28, 2015.
Conveniences of Free Shipping:
When you search for your item(s), a FREE store pickup and/or FREE shipping on orders of $59 or more may apply. Remember there are certain restrictions that apply, as well. If the store pick up is available, you just click the box and the nearest store zip code that is in your account (or that you enter) will inform you of the availability. If it is not available, you might want to take advantage of any free shipping that is offered, or use your MAX 2-day shipping, if you’re a member.
