SHARK BITES – Mother’s Day 2015… A Tribute to our Moms on Mother’s Day
As we all know, Mother’s Day is a coming up in less than two weeks. In fact, May 10th will be here sooner than you think.
Mother’s sacrifice a lot for their children. I mean… A LOT! So, today I’d like to discuss gift ideas and ways we can tribute our beloved mother’s on her very special day.
What describes a mother?
A mother is a loving and giving soul, who helps mold their child to be the very best person they can possibly be. A mother sacrifices, and will go to the ends of the earth protecting their own. She loves her child(ren) unconditionally, and will be the helping hand her child needs—no matter what their age.
We are comforted and cared by such a special, tender woman. She’s our fearless Shero!
This QUEEN of our heart, is a role model extraordinaire, baker, teacher, chauffer, chef, party planner, listener, nurse, counselor, organizer, historian, matriarch, healer, psychiatrist, encourager, and friend. The best part of all is that’s she’s simply…“Mom”.
She is special to say the least. And, we owe a great deal of hugs and kisses to the one who wiped away our tears, kissed our “boo-boo’s” away, and disciplined us with a soft— yet stern voice and hand.
We as children, grow up very fast in a mother’s eyes. But, no matter what… we will always be momma’s baby!
On Mother’s Day… ask her to think back to the very first time she heard you call her “mama”, or the very first time she felt you kick inside her belly. If by chance you are adopted or a foster child, ask her what was the first thing she felt when she laid eyes on you. Regardless of how you came to be in her life, I bet you are going to make her smile from ear to ear asking her these questions.
When her special day arrives… start it with a personal card, pictures, and breakfast. Then when she thinks it can’t get any better… surprise her with a gift she will always cherish. After all, it comes from you… her greatest gift of all. 🙂
