No Mail on Saturdays Starting August 1st, 2013

postalJust in! Starting on August 1st, 2013, The U.S. Postal Service will not be delivering letters and other first-class mail on Saturdays, however, packages will continue to be delivered. This means that we most likely be getting a mailbox full of freebies on Mondays, since Saturday is out of the picture.  Most freebies are delivered with our letters, which means no freebies for us on Saturdays, unless it is an actual package.

Note that this proposal most likely still has to go through Congress, but it is probably going to take place since the USPS is running low on cash. Cutting Saturday delivery’s would save the USPS over $2 billion each year. Click here to read the full article.
